Thanks Jay...

The distances will very from job to job, but I am
looking for 12-15 miles.  You are right that the 500mW
amp is illegal for the 15db antenna, but as we all
know folks on the Internet will sell you almost
anything.  I ended up getting a 100mW to avoid any
issues...the 24db is a possibility down the road, but
right now I need something small enough that I can
carry it on a plane...the one I purchase is the size
of a laptop screen.
