Disassemble it and look for an RF Choke (inductor) connected to the "to radio" jack. There will also be capacitor that feeds the RF through to the amp itself. Depending on the construction, you may be able to lift one end of the choke and inject 12V there. I'd recommend using a feed through capacitor to get the 12V supply inside the case. I'd be happy to wield the screwdriver & soldering iron if you'd like, I'm guessing it'd take 30 mins at most. I assume you know this will void FCC type approval etc etc etc and you know about power limits etc etc. Crack the case open and post some photos. -- andyw at pobox.com Andy Warner Voice: (612) 801-8549 Fax: (208) 575-5634 _______________________________________________ Twin Cities Wireless Users Group Mailing List - Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota http://www.tcwug.org tcwug-list at tcwug.org https://mailman.real-time.com/mailman/listinfo/tcwug-list
