No it is not safe to assume this. With *very* old P50 it *was*
theoretically possible (bye, bye warranty :)....since the NT-1
was sitting on a removable daughter card.
The newer P50s, and all other Pipes do NOT have a removable NT-1 (unless
you count a soldering iron in the equation).
