I helped Peter Kleynjan <pkleynjan@ixonet.nl> with his Dialback-Problem with Win95 and a Max. Maybe this is of any use for you ascend-users-readers: to use Dialback with Win95 and a Max you need -> Mircosoft Plus! containing the Win95 Dialup Server. You have to provide a Send-Password in the Connection Profile and SendAuth set to PAP. Leave LinkComp set to 'off'/'none' because everything else seems to cofuse the Dialup-Server. (Maybe MS-Stac does it, try it out.) There is a Documentation for this on -> http://www.rz.uni-sb.de/netze/gif/CALLBACK/callback.html (german) which I found via www.ascend.de :-) Christian Vogel --- Buergernetz Neumarkt * http://www.bene.baynet.de ++ Ascend Users Mailing List ++ To unsubscribe: send unsubscribe to ascend-users-request@bungi.com To get FAQ'd: <http://www.shore.net/~dreaming/ascend-faq> or <ftp://ftp.shore.net/members/dreaming/ascend-faq.txt>

Follow-Ups:

Re: (ASCEND) PPP W95 Callback

From: Andrew Cutler <andrewc@xtra.co.nz>

Prev by Date: (ASCEND) Multiple MAX 4004's ver 5.0ap1, Stack, Rip V2, to OSPF network?

Next by Date: RE: (ASCEND) What's the Latest on Appletalk?
