Just bear in mind that the MAX4000 platform was really designed about 3 to 4
years ago. The MAX6000 is a "new" design (still based on the MAX4000, but with
more memory and a faster processor).
It's much like the Intel progression of x86 chips....just a few years ago the
486 seemed like a Turbo engine compared to the prevalent 286 and 386
machines.
Now Pentium II makes it feel like an old chugger....
