RE: (ASCEND) USR Modem Problems??
Have you tried S15=128 to get around a pausing issue with SOME USR modems
that have buggy V.42bis code?

We are having this same problem and have been for months. I too would love
to
have an answer on this one, so if there is a responce, post it to the list
