Re: (ASCEND) Protection Violation

I noticed these same messages after I installed a 6000 at our site. I
was able to get the following response from tech support

     >Most of these Protection Violation errors are cosmetic, there
     >is nothing to be alarmed about them.
     >
     >Ascend TAC

I have a 6048 with 4 PRI, software Rev 7.0.3. Whenever I go into
debug I get the message below repeated about 40 times:

Protection violation: ind = 00010000 addrType = 00001002 at 00000008
 b02e8b18 b02e4e54 b0149e98 b0139644 b01923c0

I've got a hundred Max units but I've never seen this kind of message. Has
anyone else seen it before? How concerned should I be?

I've tried mailing the question to support but they keep rejecting the
messages with a couple pages of instructions on how to program their
database. I called support on 12/1 to open a ticket but they haven't
responded yet. On a follow up call on the 8th, I was able to get the manager
to commit to a return call from a tech by the first of the year. :)

Thanks,
