Ascend's free radius is based on Livingston's code version 1.16 (?)
Starting with 2.0 (?) Livingston made the decision that anything with
spaces should be rejected, rather than authenticating.
Livingston also changed the licensing on 2.0 to restrict it's use to
owners of Livingston equipment only. You will not be seeing a Livingston
2.0 based Ascend modified radiusd.
I have no clue what the commercial version of Ascend's radius is based on
or it's behavior when confronted with spaces.
I'm sure Kevin or Megazone can jump in with exact revision numbers for the
above.
