(ASCEND) SNMP Get for T1 line errors

I'm using an application to do an SNMP Get from an Ascend Max 6000 for
T1 line errors.  While I can get to the actual MIB number for that
interface and query something called "ifInErrors" and "ifOutErrors",
they come back as zero.  When telnetting into the max inself, it shows
errors on the T1 span (channelized T1).  Am I going about this the
wrong way?
