Re: (ASCEND) Router for ADSL



I've been bustin' a gut trying to get the Ascend DSLTNT to work with their
Pipe75 on DMT.  I get a connection running for about 10 minutes and then
the whole circuit collapses and won't re-establish.  From the looks of the
commands, it will be a mega-machine - but right now there is no code
behind some of the features they offer.  Their CAP over Frame Relay worked
for awhile - almost, there was a serious hum on the line which we knocked
back, but not out, by using a single wire in CAT5 cabling for all of the
cross-connects (can you say EMI?).  The data connections were flying; my
beta users are having serious withdrawals while we do the conversion to
DMT.  Maybe the next rev...
