RE: (ASCEND) Backoff Q full, discarding user
Backoff Q is for accounting only it has nothing to do with authentication.
It indicates that the queue in the max or TNT for sending Radius Accounting
or Call logging is full and that accounting information is being discarded.
How does this queue get full?
1) Radius accounting is turned on but the accounting server is down,
unreachable or misconfigured
2) Call logging is turned on but the NavisAccess server is down, unreachable
or misconfigured
3) there is a firewall or other network issue preventing the radius
accounting or NavisAccess server from acking the accounting message.

Backoff Q full normally means there are too many people in queue trying
to authenticate at once. If i am not mistaken I think the Ascend Radius
has a queue limit of 100. I would recommend restarting radius since
you've installed that 6000 to see if it fixes the problem. (when we had
it here a restart of radius seemed to fix the problem)
