(ASCEND) IP Multicasting Forwarding

We have a bunch of Maxen (4002, 4048's, 6000) that we would like
to setup IP Multicast forwarding on to talk with Cisco routers.
We are mostly running v6.1.7, but have some other versions out
there (5.0ap48, 6.1.24 etc.). Any information that anyone has on
IP Multicasting would be greatly appreciated.  Any version that
it doesn't work on?  Example configs, and anything to look out
for?  This is the fire for the week and needs to be up and
running in a few days.
