As a parenthesis, I fail to understand the concept of switched DSL. A DSL
link is a nailed link by definition. What exactly is the point of bringing
down the session. Why not just leave it up? A DSL connection uses up a port
whether or not the session is up, so there's no incentive to shut it down...
In fact I was thinking of frame relay over ISDN where you place or
receive a frame relay call.
