(ASCEND) Please talk to me about the 6248...

I have a 6248 and am only using one channelized t1.  I want to add another
t1 so that I can have 48 lines available.

How do I activate the second t1 port?

What was the deal with the 6248 concerning some hash required to unlock some
of its features?  is that for going beyond the 48?  or the 24?
