(ASCEND) Cloning 4048 To 6048

I the past when we got a new MAX 4048, we would just restore one of the
configutations of a running system to the new one (after upgrading it to
the latest "stable" s/w release) and make required changes and put it
online.  So far no problems.

Our next MAX is on the way and it is a 6048, can I use this same technique
on the new platform, that is restore a 4048 configuration to a 6048?
