(ASCEND) Weird Problem with Max6000

Wondering if anyone has ever had a problem with a Max 6000 just stop
working, the power supply seemed to be working all the lights were
functioning, but none of the fans were working and neither the ethenet or
dialup ports would respond.  Turned off the unit and removed the modem
cards, same thing lights were on but no fan or response from interfaces.  I
placed the modem card in a different MAX 6000, and they seem to be working.
I left bad unit sit for a couple hours and just for kicks fired it up.  It's
working!  I haven't put any modem cards in it as of yet, but could this be
an overheating issue?  Or should I be looking for a more serious problem?
