(ASCEND) DSLMAX 20 TAOS 8.0.2 SOFTWARE

TAOS Release 8.0.2 Software for the DSLMAX 20 can be obtained from Customer
Support. This release contains the following:

Corrections:
* Improved SDSL modem training
* Removing SDSL slot card in slot 1 no longer causes failure in second SDSL 
slot
card.
* Removing a previously active SDSL slot card in slot 1 and rebooting the 
DSLMAX
no longer causes the ports on the SDSL slot card in slot 2 to fail to train.
* Fatal error 29 no longer occurs during startup if OC3 card installed in 
slot 1
and SDSL card installed in slot 2.
* DS3-ATM and OC#-ATM line errors are again displayed.
* Fatal error 40 no longer occurs under heavy traffic.

New WAN access features
* Multilink Frame Relay (MFR)
* DSLMAX or DSL Terminator OC3-ATM Slot Card
* Cell payload scrambling
* Frame Relay and ATM internetworking support
* FRF.8 for ATM and Frame Relay
* Inverse ATMARP support
* Interoperabilty of SDSL line signaling with CPE equipment
* Link Comp and VJ Comp default change
* Enable RADIUS boot server
* Framer mode parameter for OC3-ATM line configuration

New IP routing features
* PPP over ATM
* Bridge groups
* Bridged IP routing
* PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE)
* RADIUS support for PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE)
* Traffic shaping for ATM cards
* Designating egress interfaces for bridged IP routing or bridge groups
* Restricting multicast bridging
* Support for bridge MIB RFC1493
* OSPF routing
* Configuring OSPF routing in the DSLMAX or DSL Terminator
* Support for MIB RFC1407

New tunneling features
* Virtual private networks (VPNs)* Support for multiple routers (Virtual 
Routers) introduced.
