Seems to be OK. If the MAX is on an E1-Link add "Ascend-Data-Svc = Switched-64K"
because the default is 56k. :-(
Be shure that you send all the Data the MAX needs to login on the other Side when calling back
Ascend-Send-Auth = Send-Auth-CHAP,
Ascend-Authen-Alias = "<maxname_send_to_other_side>",
Ascend-Send-Passwd = "<send_password>",
See what's happening during it try to establish the wanlink.
