(ASCEND) Max TNT SDSL link-status codes

Anyone know what the SDSL link-status codes on the TNT mean?
None of the documentation I have mentions a DE status code, and searches
at lucents site have come up null.
In particular, at times I see sdsl lines with a status of DE, just
curious what that means.
