Simple. I only get detail at the end of each call. I want to monitor this
link /in near real time/ so I can ensure it's not getting over-subscribed.
It's a link to one of our small remote POPs, and I need to make sure it's
not getting flogged! (and so I can plan capacity upgrades before they are
too late)

That's fine, for customers.

Or, if I want to do it every 5 minutes, that's 24 flagfalls per hour (2
channels, 12 times per hour) for 24 hours a day, for 30+ days a month,
that's an /expensive/ way to monitor the link :-)

Thanks Leigh... but I do have a need to monitor it without just dropping
the call (for what it's worth, thats how I /bill/ the customers now, but I
want to MONITOR links too...)
