Yes,

I tried it in relation to dip and I received an OK from the terminal.  By the
way, I stated that dip worked and I now retract that statement.  The terminal
states 'Entering PPP M$%^#$%' and then drops the connection, the same as
minicom.  I agree on DSL, I have a Linux box setup at work as my company's web
server and we plan to move our web site from our ISP to our own box once DSL
is available in the area (the promise was three months).
