Re: [TCLUG:974] sendmail question



To test your pop, telnet to 127.0.0.1:110   (check the port for pop3,
I'm not sure), if you get a message from your pop server, then
inetd.conf isn't your problem. Try using fetchmail on your own machine.
Also check the /var/log/secure log to see if it is a password or access
problem.

The software I bought said it required Windows '95 or better, so I
installed it on Linux!
