Redhat 5.0 and BusLogic controller

I just move a linux box running Redhat 5.0 with a Buslogic controller.
Nothing was done, expect to physically move the machine.

Now, I get the following error:

scsi: 0 hosts
scsi detected total
Partition check
RAMDISK compressed image found block 0
crc errorVFS: cannot open device 08:02

Now, it's like linux is not loading the BusLogic SCSI module. Anyone
seen this before?

I have booted to rescue, and have successfully mounted the root
partition.

If I build a kernel with the BusLogic inside the kernel (no BusLogic
module). It also boots just fine.

What I don't get is why it died all of a sudden. It has worked
perfectly for months.
