Okay, I screwed up big time. I looked at the install script via cat -A ./orainst and saw the CR/LFs placed there. While I can edit the one script, I assume an install will use multiple scripts at various points in the install. Am I toast whereby I have to burn a CD a different way
or is there a way out of the darkness. By this, I mean is it possible to run scripts from a CD that is in dos text format. I don't mind pitching the CD, they are cheap, but it is a royal pain to build it.

All that is Microsoft does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old AT&T Unix that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by frost.

From the ashes of Spec1170 a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be the Unix OS that was broken,
Linux shall be king.
