Speaker/topics

I asked Mike Shappe if he would speak to TCLUG sometime. He's had many
articles published in Linux Journal and he's local (St Paul). I need to
get a list of topics you would like to hear about so he can prepare
something. He would not be available for our normal 1st Sat of the
month meeting so...now's the time to setup that mid-month meeting time.

Also, would some of you university students look into a possible meeting
room on campus on a Wed night for mid month meetings? I'm thinking the
2nd or 3rd Wed of the month from 7-9PM, holidays excluded. At a
previous meeting, someone mentioned that if 3 students formed a "group"
they could signup for meeting space free of charge. Sorry but I don't
remember who mentioned it originally.

Given the holidays are fast approaching, maybe we don't start the
mid-month meetings until after then but I'd like someone to get the ball
rolling on that. Unfortunately I'm not a student. If anyone else has
suggestions on where to meet, I'm open. The only requirement is it must
be free, preferably with free parking too.
