One basic security question:

1) Is there a difference (which is better) between using ipfwadm (kernel 
2.0.35) to deny certain ports from certain sitess versus using  
/etc/hosts.deny and /etc/hosts.allow? For my purposes, I want to deny
everything except telnet (and that limited on one user) to any users not
on the local network.
