Re: [TCLUG:2845] linux web server



The quickest and easiest thing to do is get your hands on a copy of
redhat.  Apache is installed and running right out of the box which isn't
a good thing if you're looking to learn something about the Linux+Apache
process.  Also, be sure to check what's running after the machine is set
up and you connect it to the Internet; RedHat starts up with all kinds of
unnecessary services running and makes you a target for attackers.
