NEW YORK (CNNfn) - Apparently, even a software giant can have computer problems.
Microsoft Corp. admitted to having computer troubles, which delayed the posting of written testimony on its website Friday. The company was expected to post the written testimony of Paul Maritz, who will testify Monday at the antitrust trial. Maritz is the most senior Microsoft (MSFT) executive scheduled to take the witness stand. Ninety minutes after the scheduled 9 a.m. EST release the testimony still was not posted. A Microsoft spokeswoman in Washington said "there's something wrong with the server" at Microsoft's Redmond, Washington campus that handles the "Press Pass" section of Microsoft's website. Throughout the trial, Microsoft has posted such legal information daily. The spokesman would not forecast when the problem will be remedied. |
