Stats, stats, and more stats. There's been some question as to how to
implement them. There's been work done (mostly complete?) by Kurk
Siegl using a log parsing method. Dave Ahn was working on putting it
into the daemon or ntserv (I forget which), but has never submitted
any patches. Kevin O'Connor had another idea using short packet
messages, which would keep INL specific code out of the main engine.

Check out the archives if you want to read the various discussions
about implementing stats.

Specifically, guest needs to advance at 2x DI. Stats for the game
need to be collected. There needs to be a "register" command so stats
will be mailed to the statboy.

There's also a lack of a "reserve" command, but I think it would be
best not to implement that. It's ugly and would be better served by
using a central web site like the Netrek Game Board
(http://freud.et.tudelft.nl/~game_board/).
