Please, please, PLEASE do not do this.  The $Log$ entry simply bloats
the top of the file without being all that useful.  The log entries are
available in cvs log, and it's trivial to automatically generate GNU-style
ChangeLog entries from commits.  There are also several front-ends to view
log entries for different versions.
