Linux Kit Production
Well, with the resolution of the RSA problems, it is probably nearly
time to produce a Linux binary distribution of the server and client for
those package users out there.
Such users don't know how to "mv" a file, and only just know how to
download a binary. They do know how to use their software packaging
tool (e.g. RPM on Red Hat) to install new stuff. Just the sort of
twinks we need, so we can train 'em up to be clue.
My thoughts on this ...
- a package for the server and a package for the client,
- client package to include RSA binary, .xtrekrc, manual, easy start
script and pixmaps,
- server package to include RSA binaries,
I've noticed a few dependencies ... that I want to reduce if possible,
perhaps by separating some of the tools into another package ... curses
is needed by pledit and showgalaxy, but they aren't too essential.
Perhaps a minimalist server package and then a server-tools package?
