In the same directory, there's 2 files: one called linux-nt.tgz and
one called robot.sun4.gz.  If you look at the tar for the linux one,
there's a directory called netrek/og that contains the robot files.
The only binary one is called "robot".  The rest are command files.

This is my understanding from reading the README.basep that comes with
the Vanilla server.  I've never actually tried running these bots.
