Still thinking about it, but this freshmeat announcement and the rise
in popularity suggests we should follow the lead.

Bob and I have chatted (audio) about it.  I guess I am fully prepared
to move the project to SourceForge but with the following limitations;

  - we keep the CVS server where it is (real-time.com),
  - we keep http://vanilla.netrek.org/ where it is (real-time.com),
  - we mirror releases onto SourceForge's FTP server,
  - we keep vanilla-list@us.netrek.org where it is,
  - we make Vanilla a module of project Netrek,
  - we accept and manage bug reports via SourceForge (better than CVS).

So if someone could make me an admin I can get onto it as I have time.
My username is quozl on SourceForge, and I have already mailed Dave Ahn.

Wanted: a survey on SourceForge about LTD stats adoption as standard.
