I did some testing of the soliciting code on a Solaris 2.5.1 system,
but since that was half a year (or more?) ago, I'm not sure which patchlevel
of the server I used. Anyway, things went ok for me, no crashes.

The US metaserver went down again. Did that happen the same time continuum
crashed??
