Thanks, James. :) Actually, the idea occurred to me a while back, but I
discarded it for a couple of reasons: 1) there isn't that much to update;
2) there probably wouldn't be much interest; 3) it's harder to make the
pages look consistent if several people are maintaining them; and, 4) I
use CosmoCreate on an SGI which probably isn't very compatible with other
editors.

However, I'm certainly willing to consider it if there are a couple of
reputable people who want to help. In fact, I would definitely be in
favor of other folks (with more time) to help maintain and update the
cinema pages, newbie guide and some other pages that need work.

NC originally started out as my own personal Netrek bookmark page which
sort of seems to have grown into the rather large site that it is now.
Believe it or not, it consumes an astounding 350MB. I would really like
to expand it to integrate some of the outdated/unmaintained sites that
are out there (such as JCH archives, Terry's clue archive, netrek history,
etc) all in one location. HTML'zing the FTP archive is another thing on
my to-do list.

But time seems to be something I don't have very much of. :( If we can
assemble a small team of maintainers who are willing to follow some minor
design guidelines, I can definitely put part or all of the netrek home
page under CVS. The question is, who are willing to help?

BTW, Bob, are you ever going to grant me write access to Vanilla repository?
Or did you forget again? :)

Dave
