I would recommend accepting keys that come from or are approved by the client
maintainers. Other keys could be added with the INL flag disabled if
you feel that you can really trust that person. For example, I would trust
Bob Tanner or James Cameron even if they are not client developers.

If such a list doesn't exist, I propose setting up a mailing list for
client key owners and server gods. Anytime a key is added or deleted, a
message would be sent to the list. Announcing on r.g.n isn't really useful,
and most folks on VANILLA-L probably wouldn't care, either.

I would accept keys from the following people (and others that these people
specify):

Kurt Siegl <007@netrek.org> COW and derivatives
Tedd Hadley <hadley@uci.edu> (?)	BRMH, but this client isn't maintained
					nor does it expire
Robert Temple <robertt@starwave.com>	JTrek
Steve Sheldon <sheldon@visi.com>	Netrek:1999
Eric Dorman <edorman@tanya.UCSD.EDU>	Paradise, TedTurner
Dave Ahn <ahn@vec.wfubmc.edu> TedTurner, Paradise
Nick Trown <?> He's just a nice guy
Tom Holub <doosh@best.com> If want to know whether a client
					should be INL-enabled.

I probably missed a few.

This is sort of pointless. Any client builder can create two binaries (one
normal, one borg) using the same key.

I would ask Eric Dorman. I know for a fact that Paradise 2.4 patch 1b is not
a valid client; the latest version is 2.4 patch 1a.

COW has been ported to nearly every available platform. I would remove this
key and check with Kurt.

This is legitimate. He wrote the JTrek client.

This is because the Paradise 2.x clients are being retired. I just finished
building and testing TedTurner 1.3 last night. TT 1.3 contains all the
features of the Paradise 2.4p1a client. I need to fix the annoying flickering
problem before I build blessed binaries for the general public.

It's likely that I will ask you to revoke most previous Paradise and TedTurner
keys in the upcoming weeks.
