Carlos, worry not, the metaserver code is supposed to drop the offending
entry eventually.  I think.  If not, time to add code to do so.

Depends on your shell.  In tcsh or csh I do not need nohup.
It should not die.  Check ERRORS.  Check for core files.  Talk on the
vanilla-list@us.netrek.org rather than vanilla-metaserver@us.netrek.org
