James did you create the autostart script on continuum for the metaserver?

nohup metaserverII>>&! metalog&

I cannot remember if I did this or not.

Anyways, my question is, can I truncate the metalog while metaserverII is
running?

Will I need to tell the metaserverII to re-open the file or anthing like that? 

I can dig through the source code, but I am trying the lazy answer first.
