IMHO this is a pretty normal request and I would actually expect it to
be there. It has also been requested in a more general way by others
and by me here on the list. Short spoken: Everything that has a Group
Number should be able to be MP-Bundled with anything else that has a
Group Number (in a normal layered architecture this should actually be
an automatic effect). See my whining "The Nailing Game" here on the list
some half year ago. I _don't_ understand why bundling Groups requires
Nailed/Mpp and I _don't_ understand why all the logistics of MP bundling
are that centered around B-Channels either. This is simply non-orthogonal
and non-orthogonality is one of the things that disturbs me with Ascend
gear. Have feature X, have feature Y, but fails on the obvious combination
of both.

If I want to bundle the Group# of Serial WAN, the Group# of a low-level-
"bond" of 10 B's on an E1 and the Group# of a single B on a BRI this
should simply work with MP and Group=1,2,3. When I change to MPP,
Nailed/Mpp and supply dial information it should furthermore be side-
backed by a DBA based ability to add further bandwidth through dialing
B channels. Is it really that hard to get this running as expected ?
