Re: (ASCEND) pipeline 75 configuration problem
the pipeline will not respond to a ping to its NAT address,
as to the XTERM problem, it is likely related to
the server trying to connect to the NAT address,
and even if NAT is working correctly, your PC
still thinks it has a different address...
I've thought about a similar problem before,
and here's what I'm going to try once I have a few hours:
pipeline set to multi-ip nat,
and set to assign DHCP address to windows client.
(this may also require the ISP to respond to DHCP requests)
with the hope that the end result will be that
the client computer will get a "real" ip address
