This could be a simply fix, first off, remove the DNS entry that doesn't really
exist, your just asking for trouble. Secondly, to keep the pipe from dialling
just to do DNS lookups, add host entries in your c:\windows\hosts file. An
example format follows. Be sure to add the mail servers IP's as well as any
other local IP's that you don't need to dial to get to. Good
luck...c:\windows\hosts (example filename is hosts.sam)
102.54.94.97     rhino.acme.com
