(ASCEND) Please Help. Unwanted dial up

Please Help. Acsend doesn't ever call back

I am using a Pipeline 75 to allow my network users to dial up our
internet provider.

Everything seems to be working fine except for one problem. When I
start Microsoft Outlook, which connects to Exchange Server on our main
server, the pipeline dials up the default connection, the ISP. After
the time out period of 2 minutes the pipeline hangs up.

The call is going to the DNS address the the internet provider gave us.

Some Background.
My workstation is configures with a static IP. We do not have a WINS
server or an internal DNS server. My DNS configuration is set up with 3
DNS entries. The first is a local server ( even though it really does
not run DNS ) and then the 2 ISP addresses.

I think that since I don't have an internal DNS server that then the
pipeline dials up the next DNS in the list, the ISP.

Does this sound right.

This evening I am going to try and add a WINS server and hope this takes
care of the dialing problem. I hope I don't need a DNS

I have tried lots of filters but none work.

Also if I disconnect the ISDN line from the pipeline, Outlook will not
load at all.

Can anybody give me some advise??? Thanks a lot.
