RE: (ASCEND) MAX6000 Reconfiguration
Sounds similar to what we've experienced with one of our 6000 boxes. It
would come partially up, but not all the way. Never got it to work right.
I'd suggest calling support and getting the RMA process started ASAP. One
thing that can make it easy for them to help you, is to have a shell set up
where they can get to the console port themselves.
When the RMA finally came, we had the choice for next day replacemnt ($6k or
so), or we ship first, and they sit on it for 2 weeks before sending us a
new one.
