(ASCEND) Non existant Ascend support, Max6000 and a reset problem solved
Gday all,
We have a Max 6000, about 3 months old, and just recently it started to
reset itself for no apparent reason. When resetting, all current calls were
dumped and no radius records were produced.
We run software ver 7.2.3

I rang support and the they will get back to me someday. They gave me a
ticket number to seem as if they really cared.(or something) Its now been
four days.

Well, its early days yet, but *I Think* the problem is now resolved:
We use mrtg and finger to monitor the max6000. My guess is that when finger
coincides with a user logging on, it kills the system dead. We stopped
using mrtg to monitor the max6000 and the resets have stopped.
