A 4048 only accepts 2 PRI. You could have 2 PRI sharing a single D
channel as long as both PRI are terminated in the same box. 3 PRI sharing
a D channel will not work at all.

In addition, I would warn against shared D channels in the first place, as
you might see a slight performance increase by staggering the PRI accross
boxes:

Max PRIs
1 1,4
2 2,5
3 3,6

We do this, and it works well. Never tested to see if it's actually
effective in combatting shitty performance when the boxes get fulled up
though.

Not entirely sure what you're asking here. I tell the max that it's got
an ISDN line coming in, how it's set up (b8zs, esf), the rest default, and
it just works.

since you have multipe lines, I would suggest starting with just one of
them, and making sure it works. Once you've wiggled your way through it,
you have a point of reference for doing the rest. But, like I said above,
the ISDN config is pretty straight forward. You shouldn't have to mess
with call routing and shit like that.

Let me know if you need detailed help, we might be able to work something
out (yes, I'd be availiable at odd hours if needed).

Good luck,
