Re[2]:re: (ASCEND) Router for ADSL



In Florida GTE uses both Fujitsu and Alcatel. That is why it is so important for
people to call their telco to ask what DSLAM is in their CO. That determines
what types of ADSL routers are compatible until the G.Lite standard is adopted.

Actually, GTE uses Fujistu for ADSL (at least here in California). I guess 
that shows just how valid ADSL market surveys are.

The fact is that ADSL is still a relatively small market and who leads 
today may not be around tomorrow as ADSL grows. What is interesting here in 
CA is that GTE ISDN installations have slowed to a crawl and ADSL 
installations are booming. This according to the installers who have to go 
out and do the work. :)
