(ASCEND) Ethernet -> Answer -> PPP Options -> Recv Auth=PAP vs. Either

Hello All:

For some reason users dialing into my 
MAX using PAP cannot authenticate when MAX
Recv Auth is set to Either. Woks fine when 
set to PAP. 

Any ideas?
