(ASCEND) Strange dropping of connections

Hi all,

Just recently upgraded from 6.1.3 to 7.0.4 and while watching people trying
to log in noticed something (it may be nothing at all)

I noticed that if they failed they would go from looking like this (with sh
us)
I 297652848 1:2 3:13 33600 31200 INITIAL N/A Modem 3:13 
to this just before getting booted
I 297652848 N/A 3:13 N/A N/A N/A N/A Modem 3:13

I never saw this when a user had a failed connection with 6.1.3, it just
dropped off as normal (ie no NA's), is it possible this is an indication of
some sort of problem?
