(ASCEND) Any problems with Max 4004 w/72 ports?

We are thinking of getting a MAX 4004 with 72 ports, found one at a good
price. However, I have heard that the 4000 series don't have quite enough
processing power for the 72 lines. What I am wondering is if anyone out
there is running these and whether you are having any problems with them.
