we have several MAX4000 Systems running. If you have more than two E1 ports
running (analog vs. ISDN is 50:50) you will run into problems. The MAX4000
has
not enough power (even with an additional HDLC card).
We had running a M4K with 2 E1 Ports and one E1 leased line to our backbone,
resulting in many complaints from our users. So we switched the backbone
link to a cisco.
The maximum amount of ISDN channels is 96, even if you have 4 E1 Ports. The
97th caller gets a busy signal.
